Green Valley not so much green - now belated

Went to Tucson proper for today. Went shoping and found the two new JLU singles. Then me and the 'rents went to Hi Corbett field to watch the Rockies play the Brewers in a spring training game (Rockies 8, Brewers 6). It was a lot of fun.

My old phone has been acting strange since I dropped it in North Dakota and I forgot to bring a charger. So after check to see if a Arizona phone could be returned in Washington, I picked up an HTC Tilt 2. It is nice to have a phone that is not freaking out but I miss the benifits of my ROM-upgraded Fuze. Plus Windows 6.5 removed a couple of features I liked. And the keyboard has the shift and backspace keys in different places then the Fuze and it is driving me batty. I am predicting that this phone will be returned shortly after the con.

Played so more GTA: CW.

Watched the Mariner's 2010 Season Ticket Holder DVD. I am having difficulty keeping my excitment in check for this season.

Only 3 more stories and I am done with Ring of Fire II. Of course one of those stories is over 120 pages long...

As I write this the rain is just beating down on the stucko roof. It is extreamly noisy. I think I may have found Seattle's missing rain. Hopefully I can bring it home with me.

Went to a new Best Buy competitor today named Ultimate Electronics. They had an display truck out front that showed a demo of Panasonic's 3DHD TV. And in the controled setting of the demo truck it was Awesome!! Ultimate Electronics not so much. I can't comment on the electronic prices because I don't keep up on that but video games and DVDs were disapointing. Nothing appeared to be on sale. One strange thing was they had a large portion of the store floor dedicated to pool tables. Kind of strange in an ELECTRONIC store. They were nice looking tables though.

For the baseball game we parked at the El Con Mall and after the game we decided to run in and let the game traffic clear. The inside of the mall was so depressing. Basically only the anchor stores were still open. Some of the store fronts were boarded up but some of them looked like they had just been abandoned. It was kind of strange because it appeared that the anchor stores were doing good business but that may have been an illusion created by the baseball fans.

The rain has finally let up so I am going to try and get some sleep.

Update: Tried to send this last night but it failed. Removed the not exciting pictures and will try again.

Sent from my HTC Tilt™ 2, a Windows® phone from AT&T

Leaving on a Jetplane - Belated

Flew to Arizona to visit the 'rents. Unevental flight, but only made it to the airport with 7 minutes to spare. Word to the wise never give out pickup times in both PST and GST. :)

Went to the doctor to get my ear infection checked out. He gave me some new stuff that will hopefully clear it up.

Started playing Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on the plane again. I decieded to play the storyline instead of just making money in the drug trade and am enjoying it much more.

Read a bunch of Ring of Fire II. I hope to read a bunch on this trip.

Long day at TCA. I hate that commute.

Had a late dinner with Q.

Watched Survivor (I hate the All Star Seasons) and Grey's Anatomy(I don't like Chandler Leigh's new hair color plus I did not know that Lungs look just like a Prime Rib steak). I did manage to read over 600 Google Reader post while this crap was on.

Update:

Now 5 hours until I should be getting up. Stupid ComiCon keeping me up late. I now have a small window into 1.0's "life".

Time traveling Wednesday

Oh Yeah Comic Wednesday. Too bad it was a super lame week.

Managed to complete the crap that my newest customer dumped on my lap. But TCA is starting to have issues. That displeases me. Trip to Fredrickson for me tomorrow.

Went to see a screening of Hot Tub Time Machine. Was occasionally funny but poorly edited. It felt quite obvious that there were a couple of character setups that were cut out of the movie only leaving the punchline. A joke with out the setup is not as funny.

Put MLB 10 The Show in my PS3 and 23 minutes later I was actually able to play. It looks amazing. My first impression after only 2 innings is that it is a lot of fun.

Watched the latest White Collar. I find a guilty pleasure in the USA Network's formula of their programs. Plus I read that they are thinking about a Burn Notice/White Collar crossover next season. That could be very cool.

Still to busy to read as much as I would like. I am sensing a trend.

Only 6 hours until I need to get up to get ready for my South End trip.

Not a Super Tuesday but not bad

Current project has some unrealistic expectations that are making my life annoying.

Picked up MLB: The Show 2010 today because I have had a hankering to play a latest gen baseball game. Hopefully I won't lose interest after one game like the last one I picked up a decade ago.

Stopped by to touch base with Friday.

Watched Chuck and Lost.

Played The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned expansion on Borderlands with JB. We killed a crap load of zombies.

Went to the dentist today to have a filling replaced. Was very uneventful.

My desire to read more is being interrupted by life to much. Currently reading Ring of Fire II and Captain Britain Omnibus.

Let's try this again - belated edition

Good news everybody, I have been official certified as NOT Insane. It was touch and go there for a bit but a large white guy named Michael Jackson really helped me out.

Played some Assassin's Creed 2 - Still not loving it. I really hate all the Italian thrown in with the English. It is like hanging out with the Demons' Nachos, except not Greek.

Watched last nights Amazing Race and checked out the website. Not only is CBS finally showing complete episodes online, they are also showing a lot of "deleted" scenes for each episode including the complete carpet interview with the different teams. They also still have the Elimination Station, so that you can keep up with the eliminated teams. I love this show!!!

Watched Whiteout. I was interrupted by work and had to go into the office for a couple of hours. Overall the movie was not good. In fact I would even go as far as saying it was bad. That Netflix account is paying for itself because I was so going to buy this movie.

Watched HIMYM and Big Bang. Missed the ECCC commercial that was apparently before the Big Bang. I did find humor in the fact that Sheldon could not attend this years ECCC because of his restraining orders by both Stan Lee and Leonard Nimoy.
